  proteomic\, metabolomics to molecular genetics for crop productivity trai
 ts. She also works on the identification of natural genetic variation asso
 ciated with abiotic stress tolerance traits in rice\, design experiments t
 o validate the function of the associated genes\, using molecular biology 
 tools and perform physiological assays to characterize the stress response
 \, as well as understanding of plant molecular\, cellular\, and developmen
 tal biology in both model and crop species.
