Additional Info: The conference registration fee is $90, which includes sessions on Wednesday, dinner Wednesday night and the field trip on Thursday morning. Pre-conference sessions on Tuesday are an additional registration fee. See the registration site for details.

If you are a tree advocate, practitioner, planner, leader, city administrator, city clerk, non-profit, or in any way responsible for community trees in a small community or mid-sized city, the Trees, People & Towns Conference is for you.
This year’s Trees, People & Towns Conference will be held October 15-17 on UNL’s East Campus and will feature a great line-up of speakers, sessions, networking opportunities and field trips, all geared toward helping you strengthen your community forest program.
The 2024 Trees, People & Towns Conference is hosted by the University of Nebraska IANR-Nebraska Forest Service, Nebraska Community Forestry Council, Nebraska Statewide Arboretum, University of Nebraska Community and Regional Forestry Program, Colorado State Forest Service, Kansas State Forest Service, Wyoming State Forestry Division, and South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources Resource Conservation and Forestry Division.
