In the autumn of 2014, Humanities Nebraska, the Nebraska Writing Project, and the Veterans Administration partnered to launch a new writing program aimed at veterans and active-duty military personnel, veterans, and their families or support partners. Participants need only be interested in writing in any form—they do not need to have any previous writing experience to benefit from the workshops.
