Please join the College of Architecture as we say farewell to Interim Dean Scott Killinger and thank him for his much appreciated time and effort at the College of Architecture.

While at the College, Killinger also built and nurtured relationships and started internal and external collaborations that will long endure after he’s gone. Even though he’s returning to Philadelphia, Killinger still plans to play an active role with the College by continuing to serve on the Professional Advisory Board and by assisting with fundraising efforts.

Originally from Hebron, Neb., Killinger is a 1961 graduate of the university. His permanent residence is in Philadelphia and he travels occasionally to Beijing, China, where he is founding partner of Kuang Xing International Planning and Design, a 50-person architecture, landscape and urban planning firm.

Katherine Ankerson, professor and head of the Department of Interior Architecture and Product Design at Kansas State University will succeeded Killinger.
