Join us for PARK(ing) DAY 2016, where College of Architecture students transform ordinary parking stalls into temporary, habitable, public places. Tentatively, students will be exhibiting their installed work in downtown Lincoln, P Street from 11th to 14th Street, a three block span. This is an annual global event where citizens, designer and activists collaborate to create these truly unique miniature parks.

The event began in 2005 when Rebar, a San Francisco art and design studio, converted a single metered parking stall into a temporary public park. This project is directed by instructor Peter Olshavsky and sponsored by AIA Lincoln.

Location of exhibits is subject to change. Please check back to confirm details.
