Come to FAFSA FILING WORKSHOPS held at the College! Free!! Food Provided!!!

We will bring the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid to the College of Architecture, to help you file your FAFSA. During this workshop you can begin and complete your FAFSA.

What is FAFSA?
Free Application for Federal Student Aid is a requirement when applying for any need-based scholarships, federal or not. Many University- or College-based scholarships fall in this category.

What to Expect at the workshop:
You will be able to file a FAFSA for the 2017-2018 academic year or the current 2016-2017 year! You will have your financial-aid questions answered!

When:
11:00-12:30 Tuesday, October 25
12:30-2:00 Thursday, October 27
Choose the time that suits your schedule.

Where:
Tuesday: Dean’s Conference Room, 210
Thursday: South Barn

What to bring:
· Laptop
· Social Security Number
· 2015 federal tax information, including W-2s
· Access to your bank statements & records
· FSA ID to sign electronically – Those of you who filed FAFSA before already have FSA ID. If you have forgotten your FSA ID or have never filed FAFSA, go to fafsa.gov, and have yours sent to your e-mail or create one.
· Most students will also need parent information to file the FAFSA. Try to have your parent available by phone if you have questions and your parent can sign the FAFSA online at a later time or from home.
