The Landscape Architecture program, in collaboration with the GPSC-ASLA, is hosting a digital graphic workshop led by Field Operation’s Associate Andrew TenBrink. The primary goal of the workshop is to expose students to professional graphic techniques utilized by an internationally recognized landscape architecture firm. The two-day workshop beginning with a lunchtime lecture on Friday, January 27th and continuing on Saturday, January 28 is designed to expand participant’s core skills to create plans, diagrams and perspectives using digital media. The workshop is focused on teaching digital rendering techniques using the computer software of Photoshop, Illustrator and Rhino.

Friday, January 27th Events:

11:30- 12:30pm Lunch Learn Lecture in Arch Hall, Room 305

Andrew will be presenting the urban public work of Field Operations.

This event is open to the entire college.

Saturday, January 28
9:00-10:00 am: History of Representation in Arch Hall, Gallery

Andrew will be presenting the history of representation in Field Operations work. This event is open to the entire college.

10:15-11:15 am: Graphic Workshop on Plans in the Arch Hall, Gallery

This event is only for students enrolled in the Landscape Architecture program.

11:30-12:45 pm: Graphic Workshop on Perspectives in the Arch Hall, Gallery

This event is only open for students enrolled in the Landscape Architecture program.
