HDR’s Sustainable Design Office Lead Tim Hemsath and Senior Sustainability Consultant Kim Sosalla will present a session addressing LEED (history and organization and how it evolved in the market); the newest LEED standards and how they affect decisions related to design
and building. The new HDR Headquarters will serve as a case study for this
discussion.

This session will additionally include discussion of LEED for Transportation;
Envision (addressing infrastructure); and other affiliated ratings systems of interest to each discipline in the College of Architecture.
