Join us for this year’s Project 2023 “ON-FOR-THROUGH - From Speculation to Form in Architecture.” This event is an exhibition that presents architectural projects from the Master of Architecture Program at the UNL College of Architecture.
Design research situates architectural explorations between the creative agendas of the arts and the technical methodologies of the sciences. Design and design research, in its exploratory realm, is distinct from both the arts & humanities and the sciences — it is a third culture, independent of these two more dominant cultures of social, cultural and technical education.
Project 2023 ON-FOR-THROUGH - From Speculation to Form in Architecture presents architectural projects from the Master of Architecture Program at the UNL College of Architecture. It offers a diverse range of research agendas that are either research “ON” the discipline of design, research in preparation “FOR” design and the speculative procedures of research “THROUGH” design. Each project is presented as a diptych of speculative research and projects in their final form. Together, this exhibition offers new ideas and projective innovations on the future of architectural design.
This exhibition at Omaha by Design runs until our Project 2023 Symposium from 6 p.m. to 8 pm on November 30th.
