A spark. A groundswell. A beginning from where we stand to horizons beyond.
A movement.
MEDICI GRASSROOTS celebrates the creative process, the wide range of working artists, the delight of collecting and sharing art with colleagues, friends and family members.
The annual MEDICI celebration provides an opportunity for art lovers to gather in the presence of fabulous food and wine, lively conversation and wonderful works of art.
Please join us for an evening of great company and fine art. Complementary party favors, excellent wine, delectable sweet and savory hors d’oeuvres, and delicious coffee from The Mill.
MEDICI is a friends group that supports the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Since its inception 15 years ago, MEDICI has raised more than $100,000 for the department. Donated funds have been used to bring visiting scholars to the campus and to purchase kilns, presses, papermaking equipment, catalogs, and other amenities that contribute to first-rate art educational offerings for UNL students.
