The Hixson-Lied Visiting Artist & Scholar Lecture Series is pleased to welcome veteran New York City art critic and the juror of this year’s Nebraska National Undergraduate Studio Art Competition, Robert Mahoney. His talk will be in the form of a question and answer session and will revolve around his selections for this year’s Nebraska National Undergraduate Juried Art Exhibition, which is on display in Eisentrager•Howard Gallery September 25-October 20, 2017.

Robert Mahoney currently manages his blog, (RMarts.wordpress, RoMMerreviews, a review of horror movies by way of agency theory), is working on a book, (Exposures: 50 Works of Art that Changed My Life), and writes for Flatlanders, a critical dialogue for Nebraska’s contemporary visual arts.
