Colombian multimedia artist Luis Roldán’s work incorporates a variety of material processes and distinctive mediums, including models, manure, fabric and soil, to create drawings, paintings and sculptural installation works. Influenced by the work of Mexican outsider artist Martin Ramirez, as well as art historical motifs, mythology and literature, Roldán’s work fuses geometric abstraction with fragmented representation. Deeply symbolic, Roldán’s multifaceted works are a constant evolution of style, structure and reference. Roldan has shown in a number of international exhibitions.
