Artists bring an important perspective to the climate change conversation.
To celebrate these perspectives, the UNL Environmental & Sustainability Studies program is hosting an art gallery and live exhibition during the first Friday of April, aka Earth Month!
We will be accepting submissions of both physical (e.g., painting, drawing, photography) and performance (e.g., dance, music, film) art to be shown in the Emerging Media Arts building. The only requirement for submission is that the art piece is related to the following prompt:
Create an art piece that reflects on current issues of climate change and environmental justice. How are you personally affected by these issues? What is your perspective on how others and the planet as a whole are affected? How can we solve these problems?
