In a joint effort, Nebraska, Missouri and Iowa Extension are hosting three meetings to address opportunities to use forage from cropland for early spring, winter and fall forage. The registration fee is $25 per person. It includes a meal and a copy of the conference proceedings.

Presentations include:
Filling in the gaps: using annual forages to meet late fall and early spring forage needs —Dr. Mary Drewnoski, Beef Systems Specialist, University of Nebraska

Opportunities and management of corn residue for beef cattle - Kristen Ulmer, Beef Systems Educator, University of Nebraska

Silage as the primary winter feed for beef cows - Dr. Eric Bailey, State Beef Nutritionist, University of Missouri Extension
