SUMMARY:Tribal Engagement Training Model

DESCRIPTION:Led by Nebraska Tribal Extension Educator\, Ted Hibbeler (Lakot
 a)\, this training follows the medicine wheel starting in the east with mo
 del covers Indigenous world views\, colonization and U.S. relations with t
 ribal nations\, the Indigenous Assessment Model\, and research and Indigen
 ous issues. Faculty who complete this training will have a better understa
 nding on how to engage with tribal communities both in the urban and rural
  areas. Participants will receive a certificate of completion.\n\nThe next
  training will be offered every Friday for four weeks starting February 7t
 h – February 28th\, 2025 from 10am - 12pm. This training will be held vi
 rtually over Zoom and is limited to 25 participants.\n\nParticipants are r
 equired to attend ALL dates of training.
