Please join us for the Institute for Ethnic Studies’ next Colloquium on Racial Justice. The event will open with a brief welcome and description of the Institute’s role in the founding of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI), and then each of the following panelists will speak for three or four minutes on how the closing of the ODI is affecting them personally and/or professionally:
Sergio Wals, LLAS & POLS
Jeannette Jones, AAAS & HIST
Trey Andrews, LLAS & PSYC
Liahnna Stanley, IS & COMM
Cynthia Willis-Esqueda, IS & PSYC
Luis Othoniel Rosa, LLAS & MODL
We will then open the discussion for contributions from audience faculty members, including chairs, directors, and other administrators.
The Institute for Ethnic Studies is a forward-looking, solution-focused academic unit. We well know the necessity and value of acknowledging our shared history as we imagine and work toward a better future.
