Join us for great art and free food at the First Friday at the Great Plains Art Museum during the Lincoln First Friday Artwalk.
Our special event during the November First Friday will be a meet-and-greet reception with Chickasaw classical composer by Jerod Impichchaachaaha’ Tate from 5-7 p.m. in the Museum.
At 7 p.m., walk across the street for the premier performance* of his “Standing Bear: A Ponca Indian Cantata” at UNL’s Johnny Carson Theater. The performance is a ticketed event through the Hildegard Center for the Arts.
