Join us for Lincoln’s First Friday as we celebrate the work of UNL Biological Sciences Professor Emeritus Paul Johnsgard. The exhibition includes a selection of hand-tinted prints of biological drawings of flora and fauna of the Great Plains.
As always, admission is free and includes snacks.
Kids activities!
- Participate in a fun matching game based on Johnsgard’s prints.
- Look for a coloring station in the lower-level lobby with pages based on Johnsgard’s work for young (or young at heart) attendees.
Also on display:
“Bridges, Sharing Our Past to Enrich the Future,” is a statewide traveling photography exhibition in collaboration with the Hildegard Center for the Arts. Part of Nebraska’s 150th Sesquicentennial celebration, the exhibition includes one photo from each of Nebraska’s 93 counties.
“Native American Art from the Permanent Collection & the University of Nebraska State Museum”
