Are you interested in learning how to judge production poultry? Are you wanting to compete in the 4-H Poultry Judging Contest at the Premier Animal Science Event (PASE)? Come join us for a fun day learning how to judge production poultry.

Additional Public Info:
During the clinic you’ll learn how to:
• Judge live hens for egg production
• Give a set of oral reasons on production hens
• Candle and grade eggs
• Grade and evaluate broiler chicken carcasses, etc.
• Participate in a mock judging contest

What to bring:
• A Lunch (Name that Breed Contest during lunch)
• The National 4-H Poultry Judging Manual
*The judging manual may be purchased from your local extension office or may be
purchased the day of the clinic for $8.00 (Checks payable to: University of Nebraska-Lincoln)
• A Note pad Registration Deadline is Friday April 13th 2018
• Pencil or Pen
