The 2018 Nebraska Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) convention includes information for early childhood special education and K-12 special education professionals. Featuring four keynote and invited speakers—Erin Barton and Chris Lemons of Vanderbilt University, Devin Kearns of the University of Connecticut and Sarah Powell of the University of Texas at Austin. Conference also includes social reception at The Mill, research poster session, Student and Teacher of the Year, and exhibitors.
Open to all special education teachers, general education teachers, early intervention/early childhood special education teachers, para-educators, administrators, behavior analysts, school psychologists, researchers, students, parents and anyone supporting students with special needs.
Early bird registration ends May 1.
Hosted by the Nebraska CEC, University of Nebraska-Lincoln Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Research Council.
