Dr. Jerome Fox joined the University of Colorado, Boulder in January of 2016 as an assistant professor of chemical and biological engineering. He obtained his PhD in chemical engineering in 2012 with Doug Clark and Harvey Blanch at the University of California, Berkeley, and carried out his postdoctoral research with George Whitesides at Harvard University. At Colorado, his lab focuses on the use of biocatalytic networks for the discovery and synthesis of functional molecules (e.g., oleochemicals) and the assembly new classes of synthetic systems. For this work, he has received an NSF CAREER Award and an ARO Young Investigator Award
