Professor Jonathan Judaken will be speaking about his monograph in progress: Critical Theories of Anti-Semitism. The book deals with critical approaches—through the work of Hannah Arendt, the Frankfurt School, Sartre, and other important thinkers—to contemporary Judeophobia, and is related to his previous work on racism.
This lecture is presented in conjunction with the 2019 Sommerhauser Symposium, whose focus this year is “Antisemitism in the 1930s and Today.” The Symposium is organized by Dr. Ari Kohen (akohen2@unl.edu) and Dr. Gerald J. Steinacher (gsteinacher2@unl.edu). More information at: https://events.unl.edu/history/2019/04/01/137011/.
