The OLLI Movies that Matter Film Festival uses the power of documentary films to draw attention to and bring greater understanding of the cultural, social and socio-economic issues of our time. The documentaries selected, “Across the Creek” and “Return to Rainy Mountain,” tell the stories and experiences of Native American peoples. See the event website for details on the documentaries and speakers.
A moderator will introduce each film and facilitate a panel discussion with local experts:

– Kevin Abourezk: Journalist. Abourezk is a member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe of South Dakota.
