Sukjin Han, assistant professor of economics at the University of Texas at Austin, will present “Optimal Dynamic Treatment Regimes with Imperfect Compliance” as part of the Department of Economics Spring Seminar Series on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 10 a.m. in HLH 219.

Han received his Ph.D. from Yale University in 2012 after completing his undergraduate studies in economics at Seoul National University in Korea in 2005. His research interests are econometric theory and applied econometrics. As an econometrician, Han has been interested in identifying various nonlinear econometric models, and also in analyzing the situation where such models are only weakly identified. He is also interested in applied microeconomic questions such as measuring gains from educational programs, that is, the effect of treatments, where interesting policy implications can be invoked.
