Dr. Charlie Dong, associate professor and Showwalter Scholar, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Indiana University School of Medicine, will be presenting the seminar “Signal transduction and epigenetic regulation in response to metabolic stress.”
Dr. Dong’s research focuses on the pathogenesis of diabetes and obesity and related complications including fatty liver disease. His research is supported by multiple NIH grants. His work has been published in the top-tier journals in the metabolic field.
