Dr. Yusuf Hannun, Joel Kenny Professor in Cancer Research and Director, Stony Brook Cancer Center, will present the seminar “Bioactive sphingolipids in the DNA Damage Response.”

Yusuf A. Hannun, M.D., is an internationally known investigator in the areas of lipids, protein kinases, and signal transduction. His novel contributions to science in the field of lipid biology include the first discovery of bioactive sphingolipids.
