Dr. Latha P. Ganesan’s laboratory is interested in understanding the immunological functions of liver sinusoidal endothelial cells (LSEC). She has a broad background and experience in immunology, especially in infectious diseases and host-pathogen interactions. Her work has revealed that the liver is an important organ involved in innate Immune functions and it identified LSEC as a major immune cell.
