Depending on one’s frame of reference, the War on Drugs can either be described as a catastrophic failure or strategic success. While the modern “War on Drugs” was spawned in 1971 with a new “public enemy number one” in the crosshairs, this month’s Lunch & Learn will provide an overview of the United States’ long history of the criminalization and disenfranchisement of people who use drugs—and the communities they may represent.
This month we will use the Zoom link below, and host a discussion until 1:00pm.
