Companies are faced with continuous pressure to be innovative. They must also innovate in a variety of areas: product development, customer service, marketing and employee engagement. However, the necessary components to driving innovation are also counter intuitive to organizations that have been able to scale successfully. The mechanisms to drive consistency and scalability often conflict with processes needed to foster innovation. Dr. Samuel Nelson, director of the Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship, will discuss how organizations can strive to find the right balance between these two competing pressures.
