Bernhard Ganglmair, an assistant professor of managerial economics at the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas, will present “Learning When to Quit: An Empirical Model of Experimentation” as part of the Department of Economics Spring Seminar Series on Friday, April 20 at 10 a.m. in CoB 215.

Ganglmair earned his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Zurich, Switzerland in 2011. His research interests lie in contract theory and industrial organization with applications in innovation economics, corporate finance, law and economics (contract law, antitrust, intellectual property), and strategy. He has published (or forthcoming) papers in the RAND Journal of Economics, the Journal of Industrial Economics, the Journal of Law and Economics, and the Journal of Law, Economics, and Organization.

He is the associate editor of the Economic Inquiry, and is also affiliated with the Center and Laboratory for Behavioral Operations and Economics at the University of Texas at Dallas.
