RETREAT INFORMATION
Each year the Nebraska Gateway for Nutrigenomics (NGN) hosts a day-long retreat for faculty, postdocs, students, and staff to provide an opportunity for networking with industry leaders. This retreat focuses on developing and promoting collaborations between industry and UNL students, postdocs, and faculty. In addition, the retreat will provide a forum for discussing topics such as exploring essential student curriculum core competencies required for future job success.
This year, the annual NGN Retreat will be held May 14, at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, East Campus Union. This retreat is made possible, in part, through generous funding support provided by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research & Economic Development, and the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
POSTER COMPETITION
The all-day event will conclude in the afternoon with an opportunity for conversation with the speakers at a reception for all attendees in conjunction with the Student and Postdoc Nutrigenomics Poster Competition providing an opportunity for individuals to showcase their research. Awards will be presented at the end of the day.
