It has been rightly claimed that the coronavirus pandemic has opened the public’s eyes to the social disparities that have disproportionately afflicted those we now call “essential workers.”

This public lecture is part of the programming related to the Hostile Terrain 94 exhibition. Hostile Terrain 94 (HT94) is a participatory art project created by the Undocumented Migration Project (UMP), a nonprofit research-art-education-media collective, directed by anthropologist Jason De León.
