Kevin Gary considers how teachers and teacher educators can create the conditions for students to experience “epiphanic breakthroughs”, conditions that require a stillness that enables truly seeing the text or problem more clearly. This talk will help to reframe our understandings of boredom and complicate those understandings, especially in school settings.
