The inaugural Dr. John and Tammy Allen Lecture Series will feature Michael Zimm, Digital Media Manager with Digital Surgeons.
His talk is entitled “Bridging the Gap: What the Tech World Gains from the Liberal Arts.”
Digital Surgeons is a digital marketing company headquartered in New Haven, Connecticut. Zimm specializes in search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing. Prior to transitioning into the tech world, he received a PhD in Classics from Yale University. Zimm has published articles on the value of the liberal arts and higher education in the Wall Street Journal, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Inside Higher Ed, VentureBeat, and Quartz.
