The purpose of these workshops is to engage College of Arts and Sciences instructors (faculty, graduate students, etc.) in hands-on course development centered around equity and inclusivity, leading to better student outcomes.
“Inclusive Teaching Mindsets and Practices” touches on several inclusive teaching practices, including course policies, classroom norms, and noticing and responding to microaggressions. Bring a syllabus for a course you will be teaching next semester.
