CICL 801 is a new course offered to students who have built up their Chinese language skills at more advanced levels through past studies. In this semester, the training will be primarily focused on learning and writing children’s poetry and simple compositions. Students are encouraged to write short essays about their daily life experiences with the aid of a Chinese dictionary or under the guidance of a teacher. Students are required to recite some simple and popular children poems learned in class.
