A brief introduction on the history of Chinese calligraphy and painting will be given at the beginning of the class. Students will be taught to use Miaohong method to learn basic strokes of Chinese characters, a basic skill of learning Chinese calligraphy. Students will also learn some basic Chinese painting skills and use these skills to make some simple children’s color paintings.
