CICL 201 is a sequential class to CICL 102. Language instructors will teach students more practical Chinese language skills. The course contents cover more topics on Chinese culture. Teaching will also focus more on speaking and listening skills related to aspects of Chinese food, clothing, travel and accommodation. Students will start to learn how to write some common Chinese characters, order food in a Chinese restaurant, introduce their families and occupations, make and answer phone calls, and ask for directions to places.
