CICL 303 is a sequential class to CICL 302. Students are instructed to continue to achieve at higher levels of capabilities in listening, speaking, reading and writing in Chinese with more emphasis on speaking and reading. Additional commonly used Chinese characters and phrases will be taught in the classroom and required to be memorized by students after each lesson. Students are also expected to recite some of their lesson contents, read more selected Chinese books at home and write several simple compositions as well as using words and phrases learned in the classroom.
