CICL 805 is a sequential class to CICL 804. Having had certain understanding about Chinese poems, students will learn more Chinese poems and verses, including Tang poems, Song Poems and Yuan Verse. Students will continue to develop their writing skills with a focus on argumentative writing.
This class continues to encourage students to build Chinese vocabulary by reading more Chinese literature works especially modern Chinese literature which are selected in accordance with student’s cognition levels.
Students will be able to recite and understand eight new poems, master about 100 new characters, and are expected to take HSK Level 5 or 6 at the end of the class.
