Milos Zaric, Graduate Research Assistant, Department of Agronomy and Horticulture, University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Understanding the potential pros and cons of industrial hemp production can reduce the risk for local growers interested in starting or expanding their production efforts. This seminar will provide insights into industrial hemp research about (1) the sensitivity to the physical drift of herbicides registered for use in corn and/or soybean and (2) the evaluation of crop tolerance and the possibilities for diversification of Group 1 herbicides.
