The Office of Academic Success and Intercultural Services’ “Dish it Up” series will examine anti-Asian violence, including incidents that have occurred in response to the global pandemic.

The virtual event, which is free and open to the university community, is 7 p.m. March 25 and will be available via Zoom.

The “OASIS Late Night Dish it Up: Rise of Hate Crimes Against Asians” conversation will include presentations by Christina W. Yao, an assistant professor at the University of South Carolina, and Jackson Wu-Pong, assistant director of admissions. The presentation is hosted by the UNL Asian Student Union and OASIS.

Dish it Up is an interactive conversation series offered by OASIS. It is intended to allow individuals to share personal views, learn from others and engage in civil discussions concerning current events, topics affecting student lives, the university, nation and world.
