The 2025 American Society of Plant Biologists Midwest Conference is March 21-23 at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

The Midwest ASPB Meeting will showcase diverse plant science research, including related disciplines like soil science, engineering, genomics, pathology, ecology, molecular biology and computer science. Scientists at all career stages are encouraged to present their work via posters and talks, with a focus on providing opportunities for early-career researchers. Professional development activities will explore careers in and out of academia. Outstanding student presentation prizes will be awarded.

See Program (https://midwest.aspb.org/program) and Abstract and Travel Grant Information (https://midwest.aspb.org/abstract-submission).

Nebraska’s Harkamal Walia, professor and Heuermann Chair of Agronomy, and Rebecca Roston, associate professor of biochemistry and associate director of the Center for Plant Science Innovation, are the conference chairs.

Participants must be a member of the Midwestern Section to register for the meeting. Not a section member? Join now for $5 per year (https://go.unl.edu/rcvu). A $30 guest ticket may be purchased during registration for anyone not registered for the conference who would like to join for meals.
