This Power Lunch, facilitated by Dr. Kathy Castle and Dr. Aaron Duncan, features tips and tactics for better understanding and leveraging the power of your body language in helping you strengthen your skills and maximize your effectiveness as a communicator.
Good communication skills are essential to success in our personal, professional, and public lives. As a result, when we seek to improve our communication skills, our focus is often on our verbal communication, despite the fact that most of our communication happens without saying a word.
Program Cost Per Lunch: $49 ($44 for UNL Faculty/Staff) – Includes lunch and parking validation (14th and Avery Garage)
There is not an online option for these programs currently, so lunches will be held in-person. We are taking every stride to ensure everyone is safe while visiting the College of Business. We are adhering to six feet of physical distance between individuals in class rooms and throughout the building, requiring face coverings be worn in the building and having hand sanitizer stations available in the classrooms and throughout the college. Additionally, all classrooms are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized each day.
Food served during the Power Lunches will be individually packaged and wrapped to further ensure safety. If you have any additional questions about the Fall 2020 Power Lunch series, please contact us at execed@unl.edu.
