Meet the renown Czech writer Magdalena Platzova who participated in the student demonstrations in 1989 Velvet Revolution that brought down the Iron Curtain. Sponsored by the UNL Czech Studies and the Department of Modern and Languages and Literatures, Platzova will read from her work and discuss her activist experiences and work to follow.
