In 2019 a group of disabled students took to twitter to ask the question “Why do disabled students drop out?” This comes from a history of disabled college students asking for more support and an understanding of their experiences and culture. In this presentation, I hope to give you tools to start to do this by understanding this history and helping you understand more about the disabled college student experience.
