Are you interested in ensuring that your programs, communication methods, and materials are accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities? The training will focus on accessibility of electronic resources such as documents, webpages, and multimedia products, but with an introduction to the accessibility of presentations and processes. You do not need to be an Office or Adobe expert, web developer, or have a degree in computer science to benefit from this training. While the focus will be on accessibility in technology, we will be discussing the broader concepts you can communicate to those who help you create and use such materials. The training will give you a big-picture understanding of accessibility on campus and in university programs, common barriers that individuals experience, and strategies for removing those barriers.
