Bridges across the U.S. continue to deteriorate at an alarming rate and the American Society of Civil Engineers estimate a cost of over $76 billion to improve the country’s functionally obsolete or structurally deficient bridges.

The Oct. 14 Bridging Big Data 2019 workshop (BBD 2019) will bring together bridge dataset owners, big data solution providers and academics to discuss these problems and possible solution by focusing on big data pipelines for aging rural bridge infrastructure.
