Join the Office of Research and Economic Development for the April Faculty Connector, Recognition Matters: The Value and Benefit of External Honors and Awards.
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln values the hard work of its faculty and recognizes the role of awards in celebrating excellence and impact in research, teaching, and service. The April Faculty Connector will feature Crystal Garcia (Educational Administration), Ronnie Green (Chancellor), and Lily Wang (Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction), who will share insights about the importance honorific awards have had on their careers, share advice about pursuing award nominations, and answer awards-related questions. The Connector will also spotlight institutional support for faculty award nominations.
The Faculty Connectors are designed to be an opportunity for learning and connection with peers in an informal setting. Each month features a different topic and engagement opportunity.
This event is open to faculty and post docs.
