Directions: Driving Directions: From Interstate 80: Take
Minden Exit 279 south on Highway 10 to
Highway 136. Travel west on Highway 136 to
Republican City. From Republican City: Drive
west 3 miles on Highway 136 to the South
Central sign. Go south 1 mile, turn east ½ mile
and turn south to camp.

Take the Elm Creek/Holdrege Exit 257 south
on Highway 183. Continue on Highway 183
south toward Alma. From Alma drive east
5 miles on Highway 136 to the South Central
sign. Go south 1 mile, turn east ½ mile and
turn south to camp.

The Nebraska State 4-H Camps, with three locations at Halsey, Gretna, and Alma, provide a selection of day and overnight camping programs and trips scheduled for the summer of 2009! The camps are open to all youth ages 5-19 and offer a variety of camp lengths, interest areas, locations and prices. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in many activities, including canoeing, a high-wire course, wall climbing, swimming, water slides, fishing, scavenger hunts, campfires, arts and crafts, tubing, livestock judging, backpacking, horseback riding, computer technology and more.
